European Universities 3x3 Basketball Championship | Press conference presentation

On Monday, 28 July, at 10:30 a.m., in the ‘B. Agnes’ Press Room on the Fisciano campus, a press conference will be held to present the European Universities 3x3 Basketball Championship, which will take place from 1 to 5 August at the University.

The event, directed by EUSA-European University Sports Association, is organised by the University of Salerno, Cus Salerno and Adisurc (Agency for the Right to Education of the Campania Region), with the contribution of the Campania Region and the support of FederCUSI and FISU.

Fulvio BONAVITACOLA - Vice President of the Campania Region

EUC 3X3 will bring 250 athletes and coaches, 44 teams from 17 European countries and 33 universities to the city and the university for 130 official competitions, with a packed programme of cultural and entertainment activities designed to engage the public and the local community.

The EUC 3x3 Championship will be the official “test event” for the European University Games (EUG 2026), the major multi-sport event that will be held in exactly one year's time in Salerno for its eighth edition.

During the press conference, the programme of competitions and special events in the local area dedicated to athletes and delegations will be presented.
